Sangeorz-Bai health resort

Singeorz-Bai town is a health resort located in Transylvania, at the feet of Rodna mountains, in nord-vest of Bistrita-Nasaud district, at a 435m altitude.
Rombat villa is placed in the center of the health resort near the mineral waters.

In the health resort there are 9 mineral springs, first registered in 1770 by the authorities from Viena. The mineral waters have special therapeutical properties such as those from Carlo-Vivary (Czech Republic) and Vichy-Chomel (France) and are the richest waters in calcium from the south-east on Europe.
The mineral waters are used for treating different diseases, such as alimentary canal diseases, biliary-hepatic diseases and nutritive diseases.

Walking through the health resort you can find a club, a cinema, electronic games, tennis and volleyball yards, and ping-pong tables.
The health resort is ideally located for visiting the surrounding area: Rodna mountains, Lala lake, Prihodiste-Marcus hill with the Sonora natural mofette, the "Buna Vestire" monastery from Cormaia, "Maicii Domnului" monastery from Rebra, the art museum from Sangeorz-Bai, as well as the places with a rich folcloric treasure and national costumes.
